> Before the release of the band's second album, Jakob's wife, Heather, died of Ovarian Cancer. From that moment on, he has been a full supporter to any and all Cancer charities. Every year on November 19th, he hosts a fundraiser for Cancer research.
> Its been almost four years since his wife's death and he can't seem to start dating again. He has tried to go on dates or meet girls but he is always on his Blackberry because he is a businessman and raising three sons on his own.
> After he was done promoting, Little of your Time, him and his sons went into seclusion to be able to mourn the loss of Heather without the photogs making a mockery of it.
